JOB DESCRIPTION

In central Jörlanda, we are opening a completely newly built residence with special services. The building contains eight apartments and is located in close proximity to a grocery store, public transport, and a scenic area with the sea and beautiful walking paths around the corner.

Your mission is to provide support that promotes self-determination, participation, and good living conditions. You will work based on the individual's needs and rights, with respect for integrity and a focus on a good and safe life. You will work closely with the tenants and provide individual support in daily life. You will help design implementation plans, create structure and clarity in everyday life, and use methods such as low-arousal responses and clarifying pedagogy. You will document according to applicable laws and guidelines and collaborate with relatives, colleagues, and other professionals. In the role of support educator, you have a responsibility to guide colleagues in methods and working methods as well as social documentation. You will also plan and lead educational meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant education and experience in care and support, as well as good knowledge of LSS and its values. You have experience and knowledge in low-arousal responses, clarifying pedagogy, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and preferably also motivational interviewing (MI). You are self-assured, empathetic, and have the ability to create good relationships. You can work both independently and in a team, are flexible and solution-oriented, and have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

We are looking for three support educators: one for daytime work and two for irregular hours, which will include evenings and weekends.
